Need DVD-R recovory tools or disk checking.

So for past month I have been burning files to disk and it works!! Now out of no where after the last burning it does not show any files or folders on the disk none . My take on it some thimg gone wrong it deleted every thing or the files are there but path is gone or files are there but it cannot see it or the disk got damage .

So I need a recovory tools to recover it or repair the disk if the disk got damage some how.

Some how I think it cannot see the files on the disk.

 

I was using windows vista the built in software . I was coppying folder from the computer to paste to other folder on DVD .

What do you mean if you don't close the burning session or wasn't closed properly .

Is there way I can copy the entire filesystem (the image) to a file?

And what can I use to display multi-session if some how that is the problem.


I tried other computer and no go . I even re-started the computer and no go.It shows nothing. The only thing it shows in the properties 337MB used on the disk but it cannot see the files on the disk.So base on this it looks like its there but just cannot see the files.

 

Ya I don't get any of those things in Vista. I tried Recover My Files software at http://download.cnet.com/Bad-CD-DVD-Recovery/3000-2248_4-10697118.html and no go with this recovering sofware.

I'm going to put Nero burning software on and see if it can read it or finalize it or copy it.

 

This is strange .


When in Nero burning software I click on analyze disc it shows 5 sessions and 337MB used and that is about right .

When I click copy disc it copies it and than tells me to put in new disc and copies to it.

But strange some thing is there but it not showing up.It almost like the file table is bad .

 

Anyone know or had this problem??confused
