i have got an old laptop (toshiba sa60-116) it has an intel celeron 2.80ghz cpu, could i fit this in my lenovo g530, which has an intel celeron 2.2ghz cpu, is this swap possible and would it improve the speed of my lenovo? Any info on this would be appreciated
    thankyou

Not too up on laptops, but have heard that the CPUs in them are soldered in place and not able to be changed like a desktop can.

The Lenovo has the Pentium T3400 while you want to replace it with a Celeron D 335 CPU. Based on the specifications, I believe you would be downgrading to a lower performing, less efficient CPU.
The ones I've seen are removable like desktop CPUs.
