I got help from Malware section of this forum, they said I'm free from Malware and suggested me post here.

Right now I'm having few issues.

    1) If I try to delete Internet Explorer 8, I get blue screen error and reboots computer. I can't use Internet Explorer 8 neither, so I'm using Google Chrome.

The reason I tried to uninstall Explorer 8 was that the internet option tab wasn't working, it blinks for less than 1 second and disappears. I tried every troubleshootings suggested from Microsoft webpage, but none of them worked.

    2) I also downloaded Malwarebyte, and its task is mbamservice.exe. When I try to end task, the computer froze.. so I deleted that program. I asked my friend to try in his computer, his computer didn't freeze...

    3) My volume control also don't appear in Tray Icon. If I click on 'place volume icon in the taskbar' in the sounds and audio device property, it shows error "Windows cannot diplay the volume control..."

    4) When I used to have Internet Explorer 8, I go try to update Windows Update and it will show 80244000A error (something like that, I can't remember exact number). It's like this with both custom and express update.. tried troubleshooting suggested by microsoft webpage, didn't help at all.

I don't know if this has to do with me defragging over the files that is already defragmented from CCcleaner.

I had plenty of problem with virus so I formatted window about 2 weeks ago, and these problems occuring probably since 19th or around there.
System restore point is deleted after turning it off.. I turned it off because it was one of the Malware instruction !! only system restore point I have is today so it won't fix a damn thing.

Since you have your XP CD, you may want to consider doing a non-destructive repair install.

Well For Xp it Self i would take about an hour.

If you do a full reinstall from fresh start then probably about 2 hours for installing software and another 1 or so for the Windows updates.

I started having miscellaneous issues with my 4-year-old laptop. Never had a virus, but lots of installing/uninstalling programs, tweaks, etc. had really slowed it down. I reinstalled XP, updated to SP3, and it's like new. It took right at two hours.

Sometimes things get so messed up that a clean reinstall is the only thing that's going to work.

You can try a repair install. Read through all of this
    http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Note: I've never done this. I use Acronis True Image and if one of the computers has a problem, I restore an image that I created from an earlier date. So I can't answer questions on how it works or how long it takes.

Repair install is very underrated for XP. Can't say for other OSes, but it is a great option. It saves all your installed programs and your files, too. You will have to reinstall updates for XP.

I did a repair about 6 months ago after a problem with an uninstaller program. It removed some important keys and macros wouldn't work in Office. Some programs wouldn't open, too. The repair took about 2 hours and the updates about an hour.

One thing about updates...when you think you are finished and have rebooted, go back and see if there are more. Having some installed will make others available and so on. I think it takes about 4 visits to get them all. Also, some of the optional ones were important for me...can't recall which ones, though...

If you can get an XP installation disk, the repair option is great...

like I said, my XP CD is 10 years old and wouldn't work, nor it seem to have repair option. I do have Toshiba CD that came with laptop when I purchasd, but it only has 2 option, 1 for format and deleting, other is to installing program files.. I reinstalled volume thing because it wouldn't go to icon tray, but still having problem. I even reinstalled Bios from it, didn't fix a thing.

Hey Coreano...I would say it will be worth your money to get a copy of XP Home to keep around for emergencies. It's a good OS, and you can use it on your old PC even if you get a new one. Just a good program to have around, since there are so many programs written for it. I think you should be able to find one for $20-30 online somewhere with either SP2 or 3...

The volume thing is fickle as hell. Sometimes it shows up other times not. The slightest problem, and it's gone. Have you tried RocketDock? There is a volume control docklet for RocketDock that I use. There are also some freeware desktop volume controls. The best one I have seen is called Volume^2...like Volume squared (Search Volume2 on Google). It does all the standard things, but it's reliable and you can set it up to use your mouse wheel. Hope I don't get in trouble for this, but I couldn't find it here at MajorGeeks. Sorry MG, I'm a little new, but this is a great program for Coreano.
It's portable, so you can just put in on your C:\ and drop a shortcut on the desktop or on your start menu somewhere. I tried this download from another location, and I know it's safe, but it's really solid and very cool...Oh, the menu for changing languages is the second to last one. The default is Russian I think...I promise this is the real thing...
