I just did a Fun little test for Computer Advnace.

I did the full test.

No googling Lets see how well you know.

 

All I had time for right now was the "Mini" Test.
I got 100%.

 

I did the mini test. I got 100%.

 

Mini Test, 100% might do the longer ones another time though.

 

I got 100% on the mini as well. I was expecting to fail miserably since I don't do this for a living (nor have I studied computers in any way), so I may take the full test later when I have more time to see how I do! :-D

Yeah, so 64% on the full test. Still better than I expected! LOL

 

I got 77% on the Full test.

Standard: 100%
Full: 92%

The full test goes into some older hardware that I am rusty in identifying. So I missed 4 of the 50 questions.

 

Second run of full test was a completely different test.

I got 94%. I missed 3 out of 50.

Guess I am not the computer god I thought I was.

* hangs head in shame *

I think one of the two questions I got wrong on the full test pertained to American law so, - whatever :confused The other one was some old hardware question I forgot about. Ah well, I'm not perfect, either.:-o

I finally got around to taking the other two tests.

Standard - 96
Full - well, I won't shame myself by posting those results. Just know I'm much stupider than the rest of you. :-o

 

84% on the Standard.

 

96 on the Standard test. :-D:-D

 

I am not sure about the other ones, but the full test randomizes questions. I took it twice, and they were both very different tests, testing different areas of knowledge. So if you do poorly, try again.

I went from a 92% to a 94% LOL.

 

I took it twice and actually went down the second time. I'm not taking it again. :-D

I don't need a quiz to repeatedly tell me how stupid I am, I have friends for that! :-D

Actually, it's only one friend and I (and my other friends) tend to believe he was dropped on his head or something because there is no filter between his brain and his mouth. If he thinks it, he says it. Even if it's mean, stupid or wrong. For example, one day a bunch of us were talking about geography and we started a game to see who could list the most states and capitals and this is a guy who admittedly swore that Philadelphia was the capital of PA even after he was corrected. rolleyes :-D

Didn't do the other ones.

 

Yay. 72% on the standard test. Would have liked to find out what the incorrect answers were as I mostly went on a hunch, especially with the hardware.

 

I did the mini test, got 90%.

 

Got a 76 on the full.

Seriously, who's still alive that's ever even USED a zip disc? I know I never did. I went straight from floppies to CD's.

 

Me, Me. I'm still alive and I had a zip drive.

 

Yep, me too, (still own one, but not in use, obviously). And I am still alive, last time I checked . Used to use Yea Olde tape back-up drive too, back in the '90's.

 

I remember the tape drives that fed the CNC machines in the shop where I
worked.

 

Dang, I feel old. I used to use the olde cassette tapes back in the day. :-D What is this new fangled Zip thingy?

Think I messed up on some of the Firewire stuff.

Oh, yes, as for the Zip drive mystique - never got mine to work properly. :banghead

I can understand that they don't want to show the correct answers for the ones answered incorrectly,
but at Least show which ones you got Wrong. :confused
