About an email I got from Majorgeeks.....

Don' tknow where to ask, so......I'm asking it here. I'm not a new member by any means, although I haven't been around lately. I got an email today that is supposedly from majorgeeks.........about a free giveaway download supposed to happen next Monday. Is this legit? Something about it seems off for some reason. I have not clicked on any of the links in the email so don't know what happens if a person does. If this is something the Mods or Admin wants to see, just let me know where to forward it to.......otherwise I'm deleting it.......'cause like I said something seems off about it.

 

Well, I did look around a bit before I posted and couldn't find anything about it. Sorry to bother you, but I thought perhaps you'd like to know about it if it's NOT legit. I am a dummy, but I do know better than to blindly trust emails like that just because they SAY they are from a site I trust and I definitely know not to click on links I'm not sure of.

 

Oh, okay..........sorry for bothering you with this.....just wanted to make sure No, this is definitely NOT common practice for majorgeeks.......I've been a member for many years and I don't recall this ever happening before.
