    It happened! :-D
The windows phone scam called my house, but I was out :cry:cry:cry and my brother answered, and they went through the whole thing. My brother told them he didn't know what Windows was and he was using Linux. They replied "Oh, well I'm sorry to bother you." Or something to that extent.

    And I missed it.

Aww man your brother is sooooo lucky! :-D

They phoned my mother in law, she told them to call back but they never did, I would have so much fun with those guys :-D

If a telemarketer doesn't understand "I'm on the Federal Do Not Call List," the funniest thing you can do (as your brother did) is screw with their mind.

    Some examples:

    * Ask them what they're wearing. Do they think it looks sexy on them?

    * Tell them they have a nice voice and ask them if they want a date (even funnier if they're the same sex).

    * Tell a long, drawn out story related to what they're selling. As an example, if it's a bogus policeman's charity, start describing the plots of every episode of the last season of CSI or Hawaii Five-0.

    * Tell them you're busy burying your ex-business partner in a 55-gallon drum in the back yard; would they mind calling back in a few hours when you're done.

    ;)

My dad tells a story about a time he got prank called, talked to the kid for like 45 minutes and the kid got so confused he hung up.

It must be exiting when one receives a windows scam call. Never received one myself or don't know if they tried to call me. (call display) At least I knew about it for a few years and have my script ready in case they start talking about windows. I would like to tell them that I always clean my Windows with Windex etc.

I've got a whistle beside the telephone just in case I pick up a call from a telemarketer. It works!!! And yes, I'm on the do not call list.

I want a Windows scam call too! :(

No one has ever tried to call and scam us. We just get the stupid political calls.
