EDIT: typed using my iPod, so sorry for the typo in the title.

    Okay,
Just finished the book and decided to check out the series, to see how well it has adapted the story, a lot book adaptations don't fair so well in my opinion. YouTube didn't list much from my searches and every other place took me to a "sign up" page to watch it, haven't checked Hulu yet. Anyone got a place I could check the series out at. Don't want to have to buy a whole season if I end up not liking it.
Loved the book, waiting on my local wal-mart to get the rest of the series back in stock.
Anyone who has watched it, does it cover the whole series or just the events of the first book? Don't want to ruin the books for myself.

    Thanks,
    Spock96

Buy it,watch it you'll not regret it. Probably the best medieval/fantasy type show ever made and I should know because I don't like them.

If you like SEEING;fighting, gore, killing, boobs, copulation, midgets, castle's,swearing in old English accents:-D extreme sexual references ect ect. You'll like it. I seriously doubt it could get any more X-rated and be shown on TV and it's rare something like this is actually enjoyable to watch,it's much, much more than cheap shock thrills.

Most people I've seen talking about the book say the show is as good as the book if not better.

Awesome! Thanks Rikky. Thought about watching it, but wanted to finish the book first.
Do you happen to know if it covers the entire series, or just the first book?

I don't know for sure but as far as I know they follow the books by season as you would imagine book 1=season 1.

For minute differences you'll have to speak to someone else,my brain buffer gets flushed of all none factual data every day:-D

I'm currently watching it for the 3rd time, well more the missus is watching, but I have to agree with Rikky, if you are ok with a LOT of fairly extreme violence and sexual content then the story and the way it's portrayed in the series is phenomenally executed.
The acting is fantastic, special effects are far from cheap and very realistic.

If you enjoyed the books, then you WILL enjoy the TV show.

Gonna have to order the rest of the series, since Wal-mart hasn't got them in stock.

Wikipedia usually has very informative articles about TV shows, movies etc I find it better than IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and the other entertainment information sites.

According to Game of Thrones season 3 @ Wikipedia
