    Hi everyone.

I've recently started using BitCoins as I think they are a great idea, but the security is somewhat of a concern.

What would happen if my computer was compromised?
It seems that any intruder would have free reign to clean out my wallet..

Is there a way to secure the folder from being cleaned out?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I'm moving this to the Software Forum where you can possibly get some input of this non-malware topic. ;)

Your computer isn't the weakest link, unfortunately.
    BitCoins servers were hacked.
I can't post the source because the forum software here will obscure the link.
Look around, you will see stories from the beginning of Sept. 2012.

I found a forum. You may want to read through.

    Hrm. OK.
Maybe BitCoin isn't such a great idea until it's been stress tested!

It's such a good idea, but may not be fully develop yeat :(
