I was thinking about Pawn shop but i don't think they would take them either.

What kind of games? I know my local thrift store buys games, but probably not for much.

I would see if you have any local trade or sales options, the majors like eBay and amazon do take a cut, so worth looking local maybe a PC club etc.

Your mention of Gamestop tells me you live in the US.

In that case, be aware that in most states it is a violation of the game EULA to sell your PC game to a person who intends to install and play it. Which, since EULA's are legally binding, means that your plan to make money off used PC games on Amazon and eBay is illegal in most states of the union. So before you do anything else, investigate the laws in your state and make sure you can't be hauled to court for illegal distribution of copyrighted materials, a.k.a. piracy of PC games.

Seriously? But surely if you are passing the disc and ability to install it on to whoever you are selling it to and it no longer has any use to you and you cannot any longer use it, then that reverses the Copyright?
My girl is doing all the copyright stuff, she designs needlework patterns and they are mercilessly downloaded.
I was under the impression that as long as you can no longer use it then it's not distribution.
And making money of it holds no weight either.
However if what you say is correct, how grey an area is that? How do stores sell them, since they purchased it from distributor and sell it to retailer who then sells it to consumer.
I dunno, that just seems like a really ridiculous way of doing things since that rule does nothing to prevent piracy, if anything would make it worse.
Also if that's the case, how does anyone sell used games?
Is this just a case of, "you bought it, you're stuck with it"

In all honesty i really don't care about the Copy right law's i paid for them right's when i paid for the game.So what are they going to say about it every body does it People sell music like walmart and other places like CD there all so in Violation as well and store that is selling CD's DVD's or any kinda item that has them law's has all ready paid for the Copy right just like me i all ready paid the Copy right's when i paid for it.

And i have been selling them on Ebay i sold a few item's for 25$ each because they are in good shape.

If it is a PC game, yes.

I didn't say it made sense, or that it was effective in preventing piracy of PC games. Only that it's the way things are. Console games don't work without the disc, at least not without a modified console, and a modded console loses online abilities and with them most of its functionality in the long run. PC games on the other hand can't be controlled that way, which is why the vast majority of video game retailers will happily trade and resell used console games, but when asked why they can't do the same for PC games they will answer, at least around here, that it's too much of a legal risk to do it.

And they wonder why people pirate. Nice to treat people as criminals before they even buy things.

You mean about the hyper-restrictive DRM schemes promoting more piracy than they stop? No worries, I've heard it before.

@Goldeskull... You say you are getting $25 a pop? That's not bad at all, I thought these days you were lucky to get $20 for a game only 6 months old, especially PC with all the cheap online places like Steam and Origin etc. Good for you!

Some of the games i have and sold are hard to find i just don't play them any more and they just sit there and gather dust. I sold a Ultimate collection of Doom the first 3 dooms and i sold a game from 1998 call X-com Collection this was a fun game i must say and Extreamly hard to be it took me over a month to complete it with out a book or guide.I try to keep all of my games in good shape some times it don't work out that way though.
