I found that washing with Noxzema for about thirty seconds and then a thorough rinse really takes the sting out.

I had a beard for about thirty years but decided to take it off when it got to be about 50% white.
It was about three months after my father had died, so it was also a way of expressing the loss.

Ninety-eight percent of the time, I use a Panasonic rechargeable which certainly does not do as well as a blade,
but it's a lot easier.
The best thing about that is that I can take it with me and shave in the car on my way to wherever.

When I do use a blade, it's a cheap two blade disposable.
Edge Gel works best for me.

If I have lots of time and want a really nice shave, I use the old style shaving soap and brush with really hot water.
The shaving soap by itself is a little too thin for me, so I add some gel in the cup and that makes a good thick warm lather.
The Burma Shave set is hard to find now.
I tell you what guys, there's nothing like brushing on hot rich lather before you shave.
It adds a new dimension to a typically irritating and tiresome ritual.
