fujitsu Siemens scaleo p audio driver help.

Hello, im new to this forum so please forgive me if i have posted this in the wrong place.

Every time i have reformatted my computer i have had a nightmare to get the audio working. The websites driver does not work, and if i download the ac97 driver my computer blue screens.

last time i found the right soundmax driver i saved it on a usb stick.
When i try and install the files it says Code 3 and says that i am low on ram or system resources. This could be true because i only have 512 mb ram on xp, but i haven't had this problem before. please help me :cry

Is there any yellow mark in Device Manager panel ? You can navigate to Start - Run mmc devmgmt.msc - OK :wave

 

yes, there is a yellow mark next to soundmax audio. i think this is because when i installed it it said that it is either corrupted or i am out of memory (code 3).

when i try to download driver fusion i get a message saying i need .net framework v4.0.30319.

what do i need to do?

 

i ran the setup and it said, the audio driver does not support your computer hardware, please restart and try again. have i done something wrong?

not sure if it helps but i have a winfast motherboard

 

You could try manually installation like message #13 with this driver , after installation rebooting your machine is very important :wave

 

i did reboot after uninstalling the last driver, i would reboot after installing the driver but it blue screens before it finishes

 

What is the bsod error code ? :wave

tryed again, still bluescreened. that realtek driver has always done that.

when i try and install the driver windows tries to install ac97 by default. how do i stop this from happening so that i can install the one i want?

 

have finaly actully got a driver installed but i get a message saying, device cannot start (code 10) ARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

did all that and actually got the driver installed. but it says the device cannot start (code 10).

if i got a cheap sound card would it solve my problem?

running it in normal mode
restarting your machine is necessary
after startup
running it in safe mode ( pushing F8 at start up go into safe mode )
restarting again

after that you have to navigate to file destination running the audio driver , i hope this works :confused

i did everything on the list except for the reformat. when i go onto my settings it says i do have an audio device and everything is enabled in bios. does this mean that i will have to reformat? or could this be a hardware issue??
