I have an acer aspire M3910

The system only came with 2 gb of ram when i bought it and have never upgraded but now i need the extra ram.

Would these memory sticks work for it?http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-1333M...TF8&colid=3ECH4TOUSPEGI&coliid=I1NX72531AVP0R

If i get something like an 8gb memory stick would it have any affect on power supply consumption ( will i need to upgrade the PSU)? These prebuilt basic computers don't really come with large PSU so not really sure how much upgrades i can put before needing to upgrade PSU.

You can get that info with the Crucial utility. That utility will tell you the configuration and the max memory you can upgrade to, because some Acer models come with only 2 slots and some with 4; I think in each case up to 4 Gigs.

According do the scan that you recommended it says i have 4 slots and a total of 16 gb expansion.

The ones from the link i posted should be compatible?

You must post the result of the crucial mem test

The following is from Acer and it looks like your max memory is 8GB, 2GB max per DIMM. Sometimes a board can unofficially support more but I would suggest going with what Acer has to say on the matter.
