Speccy Warning

Do not use the current Speccy version it is crashing computer.And i read reports that it is crashing alot of others as well.I would recommend a complete uninstall.

 

What is Speccy? URLs of the reports? thanks...

 

Piriform Speccy will give you detailed statistics on every piece of hardware Piriform is the ones that make Ccleaner too.

Glad i all ways keep older backups on a flash drive stick.

 

I think cipher was asking for links to those reports that you refer to.

There are no such reports on the Piriform forums.

 

Download the latest version and it worked fine for me windows 7 pro.

 

But it seems that all most every time i load speccy it will crash my system none of my other programs crash at all.

 

How exactly does it crash your system? Any error code from the event logs?

 

Gives me a 0x050 code every time i load it and i can not figure out what the problem is i though it was the power supply but turns out that was not the case it is some thing eles.

Keeps giving me different codes every time i try to load speccy.

Does not crash when i load other programs i have uninstalled and reinstalled speccy and still does the same thing.I have updated all of my main board msi 870a-g54 drivers to the latest drivers and windows is fully updated and i know for a fact that i do not have a virus or malware be cause i ran a good 10 to 15 programs and every one of them is clean.

And i can not seem to figure out way all most every time i load the speccy program it will crash for no reason i never had an issue with it be for.

It will keep giving me a non page fault error. it will be 0x050 and it is very hard to track down what the cause is be cause like i said it will give me a different code every time i load speccy

 

Run SFC /scanniow - 3 times if the first result comes up with errors that can't be fixed. Reboot between runs.
