GTX 550 ti( ASUS vs EVGA)

    im confused with these two video card i was about to buy evga gtx 550 ti but i saw asus gtx 550 dc top , which is better between these two?

    It would be helpful if you could link to the cards to list the full specs.

    In general the Asus top cards are hand selection versions of the card and come factory over clocked with a proprietary cooling solution, the asus card will have the best performance out of the box. Each manufacturer has different versions of the cards with various tweaks but any difference from the reference you have to pay extra for.

    If the card is identical to the one in this review the main difference is 75MHz faster core clock which will equate to around 5-10% performance increase, you can compare the performance in this review.

    The Evga card is faster with slightly higher core and memory speed, the extra performance over a reference or stock version will be noticeable but the difference between the two won't be noticeable.

    Be aware the Asus has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.
