Virtual Barber Shop (absolutely must listen!)

It works pretty well on my surround sound connected to the P.C., (7.1 surround). Pretty similar to part of the sound demo you get with this mobo and some others, where they have a cyber Bee buzzing around your head. Sounds pretty trippy, i.m.o.!

It's not just a 3d sound demo as I first thought, it's made by sound engineers using a very complex algorithm called cetera which tricks your ears and brain, the technology will be used in new hearing aids.

That's cool, I remember my boy showing me that a while back, it's best with headphones, listening to it surround sound kind of defeats the object. Listen to it stereo though headphones and the subtle fade from left to right gives a very accurate impression of true surround sound.
Very clever yet simple at the same time.

 

I put off listening to this because I needed to dig out my headphones which I haven't used for some time. They're wireless which was why the delay. Today I said forget it, I'm listening through the speakers. I got as far as the bag then turned it off, and went looking for my headphones. Awesome.
