Windows won't update

Hello everyone:

I haven't posted for awhile but have been having problems updating Win Xp updates from Microsoft. So frustrating.

Keep receiving a message that 20 updates have to be done but they all fail.
Win Xp security updates, Office 2007 updates.

Can you assist? Have attached PDF of exact messages received.

Specs:
XPVersion 2002 SP3
Dell, Pentium 4CPU 3.06 GHZ, 3.06 GHZ, .99GB Ram

Anti-Virus ESEt Business Edition
CCleaner
Super AntiSpyware

Appreciate any direction. I have run ESET, had 5 infiltrations, fixed.
Spyware ran, only 1 incident.

Have you tried downloading and installing just one of the updates? I'd start with the oldest first, try to determine if just one is causing the whole lot to fail.

 

It says that the updates have failed.

 

Yes I was thinking of doing that..one by one. Microsoft should have a website with link to each of them.

 

Just go to Microsoft Update and let it scan for updates and just check one at a time.

 

There is some red x somewhere beside the failed updates; clicking on them should give you the error code why it had failed.

Success..I think my problem turned out to be my windows installer.

I downloaded a program from this site and all my 20 windows updates installed.

Glad it all worked out for you. I actually use that program from time to time and it just never crossed my mind.
