Tried various different ways to get past this loop. Can someone please help me?

I can't write you a fixlist and hope someone will but can you explain the loop that you see when trying to start your computer?

It's the startup repair loop where I cannot boot or startup normally, it keeps trying to do the Startup Repair. Then it fails and it tells me to restart and it brings me back to square one.

Let's see if Thisisu who generally writes those fixlists is around this week.

But see if when it fails to automatically repair instead of restarting see if you see a link for View Details. If you see the View Details link the results should look something like below. I don't care about any of the numbers but want to know if there are any files mentioned or a root cause. If it mentions filesystem corruption then a chkdsk could fix things.

If you boot from the repair disc, after you hit enter to choose US keyboard it goes through auto repair and says it can't automatically repair. There should be a link in the bottom left where it says View Problem Details. Or you may have to close the box saying it can't repair and something about reboot now before seeing the box with the link.

This guide is from a regular installation disc but you can see in screenshot 8 there is the link I was looking to see. I'll boot tomorrow from the repair disc to see if I can get to it.

You are using the repair disc to run FRST so you should be able to, on the screen (#5) where it shows your Win7 install, hit Next button (rather than Load Drivers button) and choose Startup Repair and see if it gives you the option to View Details as in screen #8.

Best to post the FRST log in Malware Removal as the machine is infected with ZeroAccess.

    Cheers..
