Looking for good burner software

Looks like most of these are a few years old. Looking for a good fast and "Free" burner software.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but if the Windows 7 built-in burner is not cutting it for you, I like Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 Free. It seems to work for the things I have done. Hope this helps.
