Presents good or bad did you get? pics if possible of the gems.

Me well, way too hard to buy for so I gained some clothes, and cash!

Likely buy myself a new phone (Nokia Lumia 920) once its on my preferred carrier and a Surface Pro when available.

My big present this year was my Surface tablet. :) I really like it and it has actually changed my mind about Windows 8.

I also got a very cool silver ring from my husband and a nice fuzzy robe from my girls. Its been a nice one so far.

We have, it's just most of us are living in denial hoping they'll go away. LOL

My final Christmas is tomorrow, but the only presents at that one are to/from my dad and stepmom and the grandkids. Clothes, tons of snacks, and some taller jewelry display racks than what I have were my main presents. Favourites, though... :-D

Brown suede slouch boots (1988 called, and I totally answered!), a chocolate walrus (because, really, how could you not?), and a bath sponge shaped like a yellow monkey. All of those from my mother, who for all her insanity totally gets me when it comes to gifts. :-D

I just realized, I got absolutely not one tech thing this year. :( Perhaps I'll count the Luke Skywalker and Slave Leia Mimobot 16GB flash drives they sent me through the site where I work. Those only came a couple of months ago.

I treated myself to a Samsung Galaxy S III on Black Friday. At only $16 after an instant gift card rebate (plus two more years with AT&T) it was irresistible.

It was a toss-up between the Lumia 920 (Win 8) and the Galaxy. Although I liked the Win 8 OS better, the Android had the credit card processing app I needed and has a consumer replaceable battery.

I got a Philips hairstyler (which I wanted and needed), BattleField 3 Premium Edition (very nice, too bad it broke my pc :D) and a 'Nijntje' babydoll (click, same doll, just not as big) as a 'joke' by my little brother. I guess he wants to become an uncle next year ;)

After Christmas I had to treat myself to new ram as my trusty Corsair Twin2X modules finally stopped working. Unfortunately it now seems that the mainboard has also passed away, so I'll treat myself to a new mainbord (Asus P8Z77-V), new cpu (Intel Core i5 3350P), and new ram (Corsair Twin3X 16GB) in January.

I treated my girlfriend to a new desktop as she hasn't moved her outdated laptop in over a year and she gets headaches from the monitor that's on that thing.
    Specs for you all:
    Asus P8Z77-V
    Intel Core i5 3350P
Gainward Geforce GTX660 Ti Golden Sample
    Corsair XMS3 PC16000 2x 4GB DDR3
    Samsung 840 SSD (250GB)
    Seagate 3TB SATA600 hdd
    Plextor BD combo drive
    Corsair HX650
all in a CoolerMaster CM690 II Advanced USB3.0 edition case. She still needs to pick out a new monitor. We'll be doing that in january as we both have to work on dec 31 and jan 1st.

I have not spent Christmas and Birthday gifts for a while. I had enough to purchase a Bosch PS20-2A yesterday.

I am forgotten yet another year... I give present to people I know including my son.... don't expect anything back and it is better to give than receive.... but a simple phonecall would have been nice.... :( I guess being loved and remembered is not in the cards for my lifetime. I'm glad to see that many of you have had a great Christmas :)
Wishing all you guys/gals gazillion blessings throughout 2013 and beyond.
    Shelagh. :)

Sorry that Christmas was a bit quiet for you, Shelagh. I know what it's like to do everything for others, then they all kinda forget about you, but admittedly, I wasn't this year, (I'll post some pics. of some of my stuff, when I get a little more time).
Here's hoping that you have a very happy and prosperous New Year, Shelagh.:):cool

There was only one gift my family wanted, on Christmas day we brought my father in law home for 6 hours from the hospital. It was a special day albeit a sad one as we all knew it would be his last visit home. He has Pancreatic Cancer and is in the final days stage as I type.
But we got him home, just for the one day, for a few hours. Magic. :)

I am so happy for all of you! That just brought definite tears to my eyes, but it made my heart happy. At the same time my heart hurts because you have to go through the process, but I know it means the world to all of you that he got to come home. :heart :heart :heart

We were given a similar, if not quite as wonderful, a gift this year at my dad's house. He's 78, with Parkinson's and dementia. This year he was him. Totally him, all day long. He even walked once without even his cane, and refilled his own plate from the buffet. :)

Yes it was special, even though he couldn't eat, he enjoyed overseeing the cooking of stuff as he's always been the cook, and we had some laughs and got some pictures with him smiling and laughing and he smoked his head off and loved every minute.
It's not been nice since then but I can honestly say, if there is such a thing as christmas miracles... that was one.

Love Christmas! Hate 12th night, Tree dismantled, how is it possible to get 10ft of pine needles from a 9ft tree, vacuum cleaner blocked, ornaments packed, boxes back in the attic, SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED IS BUSY making a list of people who sent cards while I climb up and down ladders taking lights off the front of the house, as I put the ladders away my angle waves to me, pours a large Gin and Tonic, smiles I’ve finished, and drinks it. :cry HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY. :-D

Well I got spoiled this year, but i"m mid-fifties and the toys from my wife keep coming.
The Lego helicopter doesn't fly. The little one on the left I crashed while flying it in the kitchen and I broke it. My wife must've got sick of my pouting so she bought the one in the middle today:-D. I don't know if I needed the Samsung tablet but she said I need to "get with the times".
Oh, I took the picture in the kitchen because I also got the Tassimo. Love it, but I'm not happy with the packaging waste from the coffee.
