Awesome $53 PSU?

I've been looking at PSU's and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this PSU (or any insight).
Is it good for the price or should I forget about it?

I'm looking for a modular PSU in the sub $90 range with no less than 650 watts.

I'm a college student & first time builder, so I'm not looking for anything fancy, just quality.

I actually messaged the seller and he replied pretty quickly that it was a KenTek Ktps775m

Does that make any difference?


Also, I've been looking at the OCZ 700 as my other choice.

 

I have to comment and say as well. A no-brand PSU is not a good idea. Antec, OCZ, Corsair, Seasonic, Zalman all make good products.

Avoid that Knock off brand PSU. I've herd horror stories about cheap knockoff's

I would all so agree not to bye PSU's off of ebay or amazon the seller could be lieing.And it could all so be a bad psu too.I would recommend going with a newegg item they test all there items.At lest with newegg you can get a replacment if the psu is bad.

 

Coincidence that I may soon be searching for a new psu and came across this, compilation of good/bad psu's. Might open your options further.

Alot of those "good brands" should be placed on the bad list. Seeing HEC on the good list is not true at all.

This list isn't very trustworthy imo.

I would take OCZ over XFX
