Debt Ceiling Expected to Delay Tax Refunds

    Still think we should call it a debt goal. That way, when we reach it, we can have a party, then set another goal. :-D

    Doesn't bother me.

    I'm on an installment plan with the IRS to replay some back taxes. They have kept my refund for the last couple of years. So in essence, they will be delaying their own repayment.

    go government!

    Too bad it's not delaying Congressional paychecks. If this were the case, the problem would be solved within 24 hours.

    Yes, indeed.

    Sad but true . . .

    How much you wanna bet they will delay giving the public back their money, but the deadbeat federal employees who owe millions and millions in back taxes will not be punished and will still be owing them far into the future . . . ridiculous.
