Facebook - How to stop suggested pages

How do I to stop suggested pages that keep showing up on my Facebook page? I have tried everything and still every time I log back in there it is again. I really hate this frickin' RightChange crap.:boxing

 

Quit using facebook? Thats the only way to stop it. Or maybe some sort of noscript/ad blocker combination.

 

Go into your Settings page and then "Block Users"... you can block messages there.

 

Not an option. I use Facebook to promote the cd of the band I'm in.

I've tried that as well, it says No Results Found.

 

Its not a user thats posting it, its facebook itself. Its not malware or spyware, but something facebook does, as always you can A. stop using the service, or b. deal with it. C, maybe try adblock or noscript and see if you can stop that particular part of the page from showing up.

 

Funny, I have never seen this or anything similar on Facebook. (Lots of ads in Japanese though.)

 

I read that they place ads based on a) your likes and b) your friends likes. I suppose it is possible that they track where you go on FB and place ads related to those visits as well...

 

Unless you actually block users it will show "no results found"

 

The bastards!! Oh well, I will put up with it for awhile longer, will look at other
options in the future. Thanks to all for your help, always I appreciate it.

Yeah, that's pretty slick of Facebook. So much for "you can control what you want to see on your page"..........
