Provoking me to violence.

    I am currently on day 5 with no internet. I have been in contact with these bumbling fools and either I get no reply or I get thrown around like a pinball because no one knows what's going on.

    I sent them a message on Facebook (hoping to get some assistance that way) and I was told by a rep that he was forwarding m info and they would contact me (riiiight). I asked this morning if there was an new info because I haven't been contacted (again) when I was quite snootily told I had to wait 48 before someone would contact me. WHAT? I have to wait ANOTHER two days for you to fix your own problem when I've already been waiting 5?

    I am so sick of their incompetence! I am seriously ready to go postal on them, if they had a face I would punch it. >.<


    (the sad thing is they used to be great and I would brag about them but since this new year started they've been nothing but pure aggravation).

    Sounds like it's time to go on a killing spree.

    Typical though, I've often said to my service provider "You know, for a communications company, your communication sucks!" :-D

    I never could but I can sure understand now why people do! I just really wanna rip someone face off!

    They picked the wrong girl to mess with. I'm gonna be their worse nightmare :-D

    Terrible.

    Who is the provider that you only have online contact? I wonder if they are dismissing you because they see you contacting them online, and yet you are without Internet?

    Yes, there are support reps that are shallow enough to think that customers aren't smart enough to get on the Internet through other devices.

    Verizon and I don't doubt their incompetence even though when I post to Facebook it always says "via Facebook for Windows Phone" and even on their own forum it states what browser/device you are using when you last posted. It's pretty clear to people with brains that I'm posting from my phone.

    I have called numerous times before but each time is more of a waste of time than the last. They make you do all those stupid steps, which if they had worked the first time I wouldn't have called you, and then claim that "nothing is wrong" or don't know what on earth they are talking about. I've just about given up on calling.

    Twitter rampage it. That gets their attention. I bent Best Buy over backwards with a twitter rampage once.

    You tweet it, I'll retweet it and ask all my followers to RT it too ;)

    I don't have a Twitter, this will probably sound dumb, but I tried using it once and it didn't make sense to me so I stopped trying to figure it out :-o LOL

    I wouldn't be opposed if some did it for me though :innocent :-D

    I got the most attention by posting to that site. The president of the company told the district manager to fix it!! Hope it provides you with the clout you need. ;)

    I have armstrong cable pretty good in my opionion i looked at that list and did not even see there name on it.They keep up with there internet issue quit well i rarely have an issue.

    Does the internet keep cutting in and out or is there just no internet at all.

    I have my cell phones through Verizon, not my internet, but I have always gotten considerably better results from them by marching into their store rather than calling them. Just a thought.

    I've had no internet for the past 6 days (makes the 21st day this year)

    I don't think they have many locations like they do retail but it's definitely worth looking into. Thanks!


    As of right now, I still haven't been contacted by ANYONE. So I filed a complaint with the FTC & the BBB, and then my State Attorney General if still don't get a reply.

    @VerizonSupport is your target.

    You only get 150 characters before being cut off or having to use a service to extend it, so make that hate count!

    If you have phone service, contact the State PUC. It worked for me with AT&T 2 years ago here.

    So apparently contacting the BBB was the way to go. I filed my report yesterday and I just this morning I got a call back from "Presidential Tech Support".

    I didn't answer the call because I don't answer numbers I don't know, especially 800 numbers but how's that for a quick reply? :-D


    (although he did insinuate in his voicemail that at first I didn't have service because my modem was turned off... really? rolleyes)

    There is some great tech support out there BUT there is also some really really bad ones also, sadly I see it more and more in many aspects of consumer items that quality and customer service is lacking.

    Luckily my service provider Internet/Mobile (Cell) are very good for tech and customer service.
