Cant acesss my USB Flash Drive.

I am trying to access my USB Flash Drive. It was encripted using Bitlocker. I am running windows 64 Bit Ultimate.

I had to reinstall Windows 7 and now when i insert the drive it says it needs to be fornatted. The drive capacity is full though so i am assuming the files are there.

I think the drive may have been corrupted due to having to restart Windows as i had a black screen. Chkdsk is no help as it says the drive is RAW.

I have a copy of the Certificate in the Personal Information Format but this is no help.

Bitllocker in the Control Panel says its off for my drive but i still cant access it. I have the Personal Information Exchange (.pfx) for the drive but i have no idea how to use this to help me get to the files on the drive.

    Any ideas?

    Thank You :)

I cant get that tp work.

"In case you do not see attributes listed under the Application polices, you should re-login to the domain controller using a schema admin account and install the Bitlocker feature. The ‘Bitlocker Drive Encryption’ and ‘Bitlocker Data Recovery Agent’ application policies will be listed upon installation of the bitlocker feature".

I dont see what the message says above. How do i get it to do that?

It says the same thing about formatting on Win Xp.

The data is in Raw Format.

    Any ideas?

I'm recommending Recuva (pronounced Recover). It has the ability to recover files from damaged flash drives and it's free. Major Geeks has the portable version and the installer version is available from Piriform.

It says it Needs to be Formatted or cant read Boot Sector.

Recuva said that? Oooh, there may be more wrong with the flash drive than we know and I'm at a loss as to how to advise you. Unfortunately, you may have lost that raw data stored on it.
