Canon LBP-1120 on Windows 8?

    Hi all,

    has anyone successfully managed to get a Canon LBP-1120 working with Windows 8?

    As you might know, Canon does not provide any Win-8 drivers, but only 32-bit drivers.

    I've tried playing back and forth with XP/Vista/Win-7 drivers and running the in "compatibility mode" without any success.

    Googling gave me several links about this issue, but nothing that solves my problem.

    Please help!

    According to this page, the Canon support may in fact be included with the Windows 8 OS. Follow the instructions there.

    I tried downloading the Vista7 drivers linked at that page, but also without any success. When I extract the file and click on CAP3LAK.exe and CAP3SWK.exe nothing happens. Any idea how to proceed?
