I have run the full set of scans, as requested. Firefox and chrome not connecting. Norton will not run, either. Tried in safe mode and same problem. Reported Script running on IE.

Please can you have a look and advise if a problem persists. I initially tried to use Norton tools, but they refused to run.

Logs attached, as requested. I cannot find all logs, but have attached all that I can locate. All procedures have been run as the read me first instructions.

    Many thanks

    Graham

Your MBAM log is in the below location
    Code:
    "C:\Users\Cecilia\AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\"
    mbam-l~1.txt 5 Jul 2013 1870 "mbam-log-2013-07-05 (13-10-28).txt"
Your Hitman log will be wherever you saved it. See the instructions.

However, I do not think your problem with no internet is due to malware. The logs you have attached already do not show any malware problems. If I had to guess, I would say to uninstall all of Norton, reboot and then see if you internet connection works.

Also I do see some junkware that needs to be removed. But let's first see what happens after uninstalling Norton.

Thamks for your speedy reply. Your guess was correct. I have removed all Norton and firefox and Chrome are working fine. I still cannot find the logs. If it is something I missed, I apologise. There is no roaming folder. I had to run hitman as an expert, as the internet connection was lost for this process. I still had it through IE.

    You're welcome.
    :)

Yes there is. What I quoted in my last message was direct from your logs. ;) It just may be hidden which is why we ask you to enable viewing of hidden and system files in the READ & RUN ME. However I don't need the logs. As noted, your problem was due to Norton not malware. Perhaps when setting up the firewall you disabled things you should not have.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
