Mobi to AZW convertion

    I have a load of ebooks that need to be converted to kindle (AZW) format. If I do them online, I get told I have a virus. Anyone know how I can do it?

    Calibre is a must have software for ebook readers.

    As far as conversion from epub, for example, to AZW, the software is a tad less than intuitive. AZW = Mobi. From another site, verified by myself:

    All you’ve got to do is download Calibre, drag and drop your EPub eBook into the Calibre library, highlight the eBook you want to convert, set the output dropdown on the right to “MOBI,” then click “Convert eBook.” The little hourglass icon will spin, and out will pop a handy Mobi eBook that you can then drag and drop into your Kindle’s documents folder.
