So i have had my Dell Inspiron laptop for about 2-3 years now and it started to bluescreen and just randomly restart, earlier today I did a factory restore. I waited the 1 and a half hours and now apparently Windows 7 doesnt exist on any of my drives any more.
When i bought the laptop windows 7 was installed.
Do i have to buy a w7 cd? Or do i mess around in the BIOs?
    :-D

If you didn't make the Windows 7 repair disk, there's no way to restore Windows 7. If you get a new DVD, make sure it's a Dell OEM WITH COA/Product Key. They're available on ebay for around $65.

Would it be possible to make the repair disk on one of the other computers in the house?
If so the only hard part is finding a rewritable disk :p

I'm not certain it would work on the computer you're trying to repair. It would work on the computer you made it with..
