havent used forums before, need help with itunes, it keeps saying when I click on itunes to open

"the registry settings used by the i tunes drivers for importing and burning cd and dvds are missing this can happen as a result of installing other cd burning software please reinstall itunes"

I dont want to lose my music

 

What other CD/DVD burning software are you running. Re-installing iTunes shouldn't disturb the music you already have.

 

I tried to load a lightscribe program but uninstalled it. now I keep getting that when i click on itunes

Could you back up your iTunes and try reinstalling iTunes? I don't use iTunes, so this is just something you might ask around about. Also, I could you System Restore to restore your system to before you installed the lightscribe program?

 

The uninstallation of the lightscribe drivers is what's causing the problems. Uninstall iTunes taking note on what will be uninstalled. Make sure to select no if it asks if you want to remove media. It shouldn't affect the music you have then.

As posted in the other thread you started, if you purchased the music through the iTunes store, you'll be able to re-download it at no charge.

Having more than one CD/DVD burning software installed on your computer can cause conflicts so, let iTunes install it's CD/DVD burning software.

lightscribe laser etches a design on special cds I bought an external one I tunes dont have a program to make custom disc on cds so do you know of any programs that wont mess with Itunes? and how do I get to that itunes section on here?
