    Hi Guys,
I recently moved and reset my router, and while
other programs are ok, Gmail notifier keeps telling me
their is a problem and 'cannot log in to mailbox12029.'
I've fiddled about with it but no luck--any ideas?
    Thanks in Advance,
    jimindigo

Seen this problem and it often is after a PC was moved or a new ISP but it is a Gmail setting, not Gmail Notifier, causing you this problem.

There are a few steps and it is very simple:

    1: Exit Gmail Notifer.
    2: Go to http://www.gmail.com
3: Click the gear in the top right and choose Settings, then General. Under the Browser Connection tab, click on "Don't always use https".

    Screenshot added below.

4: Save in Gmail as it won't save this setting automatically.
6: Sign out of Gmail and sign back in to Gmail to make sure it was saved.
7: Now, start Gmail Notifier and it should work fine.

    Hi Guys
I tried both your suggestions and afraid neither worked.
    Thanks anyway,
