Subscription boxes

I don't really remember how I stumbled upon learning about these, I think I was looking for a review of a product on youtube and started clicking on the videos on the side and I was in love! They have all different kinds of boxes; food boxes, kids toy/craft boxes, makeup boxes, clothes boxes, etc, almost anything you can think of they have a subscription box for.

I am currently subscribed to two of the food boxes but I plan on cancelling one of them because the contents of the boxes just isn't worth the money to me. I really like the idea of getting a box of hand picked goodies every month delivered to your door, it's kind of like opening a Christmas present every month. There are so many I want to subscribe to but some of them are kind of expensive, so that's the killer right there.

I kind of feel out of touch, some of these boxes have been out for years and I only just found out about them about 2-3 months ago. Does anyone here know about or subscribe to any or am I really that far behind the times? :-D

 

Never heard of it. What exactly is it?

 

Sounds kind of like a wine of the month club or something, except for a bunch of different products. Not sure I'd like it, especially if you don't get to pick what's in them. What if I don't want that month's selection? Do I have to pay for it anyway as part of the subscription?

Some of the boxes you can choose what you'd like, and have the option to skip a month if you don't want that months box. I was hesitant about starting up one because I wasn't sure if I would like what was picked for me but with one of the subscriptions (LWF) I've been super pleased with the two boxes I received from them so far. Although I can't say that for the other subscription box.

 

9 pairs of socks for $89?? I think I will fill my own box. :-D
