dell latitude e5400 reformatted/ cant find network driver

    hi, i reformatted my laptopand now imtrying to install new ell drivers i know all about the automatic software programs that helps with this problembut if you have no intenet connection to begin with they are useless so thats why im here. I looked all over and tryed many options maybe i overlooked many buti just need to be able to install my network driver so i can download the rest. Any help would be graetly appreciated. by the way i have a windows xp home service pack 3

    Hey, if you can get internet access somewhere else and take a usb drive with you then you can download all the available drivers for that laptop from the dell website...

    Well, actually i was looking for the driver that i needed to get my internet working for my laptop but i found it on my own, last night thanks.....

    Hi, yes, you will find the network driver on that link in my previous post. Along with any other driver needed for that laptop model :)

    Hi, I'm having the same issue; I reinstalled xp on an old Latitude E5400 but cannot get the LAN cable type network driver.

    I tried the DELL drivers downloads but all I can get is a wireless network driver.

    Any ideas where I can get one?:confused

    Thanks the mechanic. That worked! I had to install the SNMP service but that turned out to be simple by comparison to finding this driver.:)
