mother board lost sata drivers:

    mother board lost sata drivers. have tried everything but placing board in freezer. next step is a raid card pci-e. any ideas. boots usb. bios controller sees ide, raid, ahci but does not see the hard drive. cdrom. ordered card hope it works :-D

    We could use some more information. Make & Model of PC and version of Windows with Service Pack. Is it 32-bit or 64-bit for starters.

    new at this Pegatron M2N78-LA Motherboard HP Violet-GL8E NVIDIA GeForce 9100 skt AM2+ AM2 hp. running vista p 64bit, 8gig ram, 450watt ps, tried flashing bios with hiren didn't work didn't hurt. boots no cd or drive. old and new parts, cables

    raid card worked. rebuilding boot partition now. [Seen hard and cdrom ] vista p is slow :].
    best thing sense the way back machine. saved $200 to $500. merry xmas :]
