So basically all of my problems with my pc started when I first got it, which was around 6 months ago. My father bought me a P.C. to send me off to college and before he was installing programs and playing around with it. As soon as I got it around the first 2 weeks I was getting Memory management Bsod errors.

Thinking this could be a RAM issue (highly unlikely its a new cpu) I ran memory test several times but after that I just ignored the issue. I finally started getting serious about the malaware removal and I ran multiple virus scans from avg. I updated all my drives and bios then I used Malaware antibytes. Malaware anti-bytes found over 90 malaware infected files and so I removed the files and Did a restart.

    HERES THE PROBLEM.
After the restart my screen resolution was all messed up and MY nvdiea graphics card keeps saying mu display is not attached to its gpu. So effectively I have a messed up resoluction (everything is bigger on the screen) I manually fixed that. Also my graphics card does not work.

I scanned my my C drive for errors using Glaries utilities and it found some. I restarted my computer and upon the Windows scan it said that it cannot open the C drive please use system restore. So I go to System restore and try to restore before the scan, Cant do it because my C drive is corrupted. So it sends me through this predictment in order to fix my c drive errors I need to use system restore, in order to use system restore I must fix my c drive errors.

What Can I do to fix this?

I can still fully access my c drive, but windows cannot create restore points of it nor can it repair the disk errors. I was able to use a backupof my c drive that was created before malaware scan. Copying and pasting all windows files from that to my c drive. Hope it works

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Too bad you did not come here first rather than after getting in this state! ;)

Not sure what you mean about updating your drives. Also why would a new PC need the BIOS updated?

Undoing what you did with the malware scans so at least you could tell whether they were the cause or the other changes you made to "drives and BIOS" were the cause.

Very bad idea. We highly recommend against blindly using registry cleaners because they can do exactly what you have now seen occur.

You are now outside the realm of the malware forum. Your problems are not due to malware now. They are due to what you did and that caused a broken Windows operating system. I suggest that you post in the Software Forum. Also I hope that you made system recovery disks for the PC when first received or that it came with a factory recovery partition on it because there is a strong possibility that you will need to reinstall.

Thanks for the help, but more than likely I will haft to restore my computer. Im sure that my updated bios or drivers did not mess up the computer because that was all don earlier yesterday and I had no problems after those updates. Im pretty sure it was the removal of Malaware usig malaware-bytes because after removal the system files were messed up. I will post in software forum to see what can be fixed.

You say you have the ability to get files from the PC. Locate the Malwarebytes logs and attach them here. The are in folders named like below:

    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

Where UserName is your actual user account name.

Perhaps you can manually restore what was removed
