got it, so once it came down to the king VS king+queen,
the king could never win, it could only draw
only the king +Q could win.
    got it
    thanks

    why is that?

PS3 has a ton of games. and is rather cheap, compared to "new" systems"
    right?

    I'd take a 3DS thanks.

Also in this scenario... GL playing your "console" without TV or power... another thing to worry about is that within the first few days, whatever you have will be rendered useless by ocean waves.

Nice, have fun and what games you get?

Was thinking of an Xbox One to get myself this year, may hold out a while and see if I can nudge someone at Microsoft for one, doubt it but never know.

Tend to play PC games a little and Battlefield 3 is a fav of mine as is the game apps on Windows 8 or Mahjong, Cut the Rope, Taptiles (if you have Win 8 this one is a must have game, awesome, and I hate showing this to friends on my Surface as I never get the tablet back).

I wanted halo, but I don't think thats on PS3, so I was given Resistance 2 and final fantasy xIII-2

    what tablet do you have?
I want one for school, but I'm not sure what kind to get, I want to be able to type, make recordings of lectures and have a USB drive. consumer reports says that the Samsung galaxy is great, but I do any tablets have a USB port

Surface Pro, with Windows 8.1, it has USB3.0 etc bit of an expensive option so I would aim you at the Samsung, just need to check with school, what sort of software would be advisable to help with classes. Just double check that if a specific file type like say Microsoft Word/Powerpoint if your school allows work to be handed in in those forms that a tablet you get can save in a format that Word/Powerpoint (or OpenOffice etc) on your Desktop PC can allow you to edit.

Although IIRC with many of the tablets as they are thinner than the Surface, they need a converter cable for microUSB to full size port.
