Internet Browser Missing

I don’t really know how to explain this problem; so, please bear with me.

If you click on the Start symbol (see attached image) at the top of the menu that comes up you should have the choice of clicking on your Internet browser.

For some reason mine is no longer there. How can I get it back.

PC: Hewlett-Packard s5770uk-m

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1

Browser: Mozilla - Firefox Version 26.0

 

Can you click start and type in firefox? If so you can right click and pin to start menu or pin to taskbar. That will get it back on the start menu.

 

Thank you for the replies. I know how to pin it where I want it but that's not the same as it's originally set up. May I infer that cannot be done?

 

Well OK, if you insist on doing it the hard way......

1. Use explorer to navigate to the Firefox installation directory (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox).
2. Right click on firefox.exe
3. Drag icon to the start button and hold it there for a second or two
4. When the popup Start Menu appears, drag icon to selected position on the menu
5. Release right mouse button and choose "Create Shortcut"

 

What's so hard about that?
