Can you succesfully tune up a tablet with iobits tune up software

I have never used it but Iobit has Advanced Mobile Care for Android but it includes a whole suite of tools that don't appeal to me.

What I use on occasion for an Android Cleaner and Ram Booster is Clean Master (Cleaner) - FREE.

Another good app to have on hand is Fast Reboot.

Keep in mind though that Android is not the same as Windows. High memory usage isn't a crucial problem for any Android smart phone using OS 2.2 and higher. RAM is meant to be used on Android. The more free RAM you have, the more is wasted. Android is very good at handling processes and memory with no need for 3rd-party apps like Clean Master. Only use it if you think that the phone is not handling the running processes correctly or maybe an app is stuck running when it shouldn't be. Over using Clean Master may result in damaging the OS.

I suggested Fast Restart because all it does is shut down non-crucial apps and sets the phone/tablet back to the state it's in when it is first turned on or goes through a restart cycle.

 

I kind of thought that, considering how high the usage is on mine. And considering I have been using Clean Master regularly, this was a very helpful post, thanks.

 

It would probably take a very specific set of circumstances for the OS to be damaged by over-using Clean Master but from what I read the risk is there. The same goes for Android startup managers. I've seen warnings about using them also. If you can't kill it with the built in Android Application Manager then it's said to not use 3rd party apps and just leave it alone.

You can root the device and just uninstall unwanted bloatware but as long as my phone is performing well I don't want to take the risk. Samsung Galaxy S4's cost a pretty penny.

It's an app which can control what other apps are started when you turn on your phone/tablet. If you're not careful, you can disable vital services from starting, potentially rendering your phone/tablet inoperable.
