Malwarebytes installation (?) problem.

Hi,
When trying to install and run Malwarebytes I get the following:
Run time error '-2147024769(8007007f)'
Automation error
The specified procedure could not be found.

Can anyone help me solve this?

My machine is a Pentium D 3GHz x2
with 4Gb Ram, running XP SP3 with Avast Free 2014 and Comodo firewall.

Thanks for this suggestion but it has not made any difference, I'm still getting the same message. I uninstalled the Malwarebytes program (using IObit Uninstaller at the Powerful setting), then followed your link and after that reinstalled Malwarebytes but get the same error. Not sure what to do now?
