Links and IE 11

Have a strange issue with any links that I have programmed to open a new tab or new window, in IE11 you click on them and nothing happens, I can manually right click and make them open but regular click does nothing at all. They all work fine in other browsers but not IE 11. does anyone know about this and why its doing that? Anything I can do to make it work right without messing with the browser settings?

Add the site to IE compatibility settings.

sure www.yourpagetoday.com just a for instance ...my main nav links the blog link opens a new window doesn't work in IE 11 but works in all other browsers

I clicked on the blog link in IE11 and it worked for me, but let me take a look at the source.

 

oh good, then perhaps its my browser settings and not everyone else's. that's probably a good thing

I am mostly a .NET guy, but I dabble in asp.net some, which has me working more in CSS and HTML than anything else.


Nothing sticks out to me (some validation errors but not specifically with that), so I am wondering if its local to you as well.


Can you try IE without addons? There should be an entry on your computer that looks like so (bottom one):

Ahhh cool, yea we do mostly php/wordpress type custom sites. I think in all of the 14 years I have a pm (owner of the company) we did but one DNN site and that site was enough to make me crazy lol. Anyway yea I will try that thanks again
