I picked up a nice birthday cake that looks like a bottle of Jack Daniels

and I also grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels .... it must be old stock coz it is a 750ml bottle :drink

Don't know about the other states, but here in Louisiana bars are supposed to by the 750ml bottles, some crazy law. Most stuff is offered in 750ml, liter, and 1.75 liter, and the pint and half pints. Ironically, smaller bottles are illegal... And there is your cultural fact of the week. :-D

Thanks for the heads up Fred, over here all bottles of spirits are now either 700ml or 1litre and this changed about 10 years ago :cry The price either increased or stayed the same though :mad It should have been cheaper @50ml less product and with less alcohol content :mad
My usual drink is Jim Beam Black Label and now it is only available as 80proof instead of 90proof so I have switched over to Jim Beam Devil's Cut which is 90proof and tastes similar rolleyes

Not to get too off topic in the off topic lounge, but I am liking the Jack Daniels, and also Buffalo Trace. Both 80 proof, but smooth enough to drink neat. See if you can find the Buffalo Trace, I think it is made by Maker's Mark.

Colemanguy is more of a midori sprite or woodchuck hard cider kind of guy, but yes, i sure dont mind.
