Oh No, I Missed Earth Day!

I missed earth day on purpose since if mother earth wants us dead, she will just spin us off and start anew anway.

 

We had a couple of earth days for a few days just before XMas due to an ice storm. No heat, no hot water, no warm food, so I excused myself this time around. It took more than a week to get the electricity repaired for the entire city.

 

How can you have Earth Day without electricity? I thought that was the day to turn on all your light (to check bulbs), crank up the AC, do a full load test on your electric stuff, and let the car idle for a while.

Am I missing something?

roflmao Yeah Fred I did all that with everything......... for a full hour like they said.... now that they made a day for it you will never forget to check all your gear at least once a year roflmao

 

Well, when else do theaters check the floor lighting? I mean, a couple of those bulbs burn out, and someone could get hurt. You know me, always up on safety issues. :-D

I have a bucket/lift truck at work I get to operate. That sucker has AC outlets everywhere, will see if I can drive it home next Earth Day. :cool
