my 4 year old dell freezes, restarts, and BSODs everyday when i first start it up and keeps doing it a few times before it finally boots up for good. after that its fine the rest of the evening, no problems at all until the next day. ive reinstalled windows, system restored, ran every diagnostic i can think of and they all show no errors. the BSODs say different erros like "system service exception" or irql equal not equal" or something like that and several other errors. i tried using windbg but couldnt quite wrap my head around it. ive attached my minidumps. system specs below:

Maybe a power supply problem? Drawing most power at boot, and unable to cope with that. Once it gets going, though, no more trouble.
You might check all your connections, too - power point, power cable, and anything else. Check the same with the monitor, too.

What are the error codes and words?

I get system service exception, irql equal or not equal, memory management, a few others I think. I'm paraphrasing but I can post more specifically the next time I turn it on when I get home today. I'll take the computers power cord and move it from the surge protector and plug it straight into the wall and see if it works. My apartment is older and the electricity is 10 amp rather than 15 amp like it ought to be but it doesn't cause problems on my girlfriends computer.

I would also run chkdsk /f and/or a program such as Disk Doctor which is in the "toolbox" section of Advanced System Care.

Random BSODs can sometimes be a sign of a hard disk issue.

just an update, i ran memtest without taking out any ram. the test went a couple minute before coming up with a bunch of errors and stopping. tried it again with the fail safe mode and it did the same. tried it with multithreading and it went a whole pass without showing any errors and i just stopped it. ill try taking out some ram and running it again to see what happens. ill also run chkdisk but ive done it before with no errors so i doubt thats the issue. another blue screen error i get is bad pool header. i dont know why theres so many different errors

Take out ever other stick that is 1GB; slots 1, 3 and 5. Let Slots 0, 2 and 4 alone for the moment.

so i took out the 1gb sticks and ran memtest. it went a full pass and then some with no errors, then my power management settings put my monitor to sleep. i put the sticks back in where they were then took out the 2 gb sticks and turned it on. the system powered on but didnt boot or even bring up the dell boot screen. it just repeated a double beep til i shut it off again. not sure if that means the problem are those 1 gb sticks or if i shouldve put the 2 gb sticks where the 1 gb ones were or what.
