I have used WIN7 cd to format and delete OS and partiotns but my new fresh instalation kept old login names and browser configuration( two tabs are configurated to open when browser opens) .

When i make new instalation do i need to do some additonal file deletion? Where is that file ? I am affraid that my pc is physicaly configurated by someone else that is not possible by formating OS delete sniffing file or something. So what i am asking can you tell me how can i do quality format by win 7 instalation cd.

Formatting with the Windows installation DVD will leave remnants of the old Windows installation. It is best to completely wipe/delete all of the partitions first with a tool like MiniTool Partition Wizard (download the ISO [the download link is near the bottom of the page], burn it to a CD and boot from the CD). After getting the hard drive so that it's one contiguous block of unallocated space, let the Windows installation DVD format the drive and re-install Windows.

You need to perform what is called a clean install, which you can do with your installation DVD without needing any third party software. Restart the installation but when you get to the Install Windows screen you have to select Custom (Advanced). Select the hard drive or partition that you want to install Windows 7 on, and click on the Drive Options (advanced) link. Select a hard drive or partition that you want to do a clean install of Windows 7 on, and then do what Drive options (advanced) you want. This will enable you to remove any partitions you don't want before the installation commences and ensure no trace of your previous installation will be carried over.

Did you delete all previous partitions? If not then it's possible you have a rootkit (I can't think of any other way anything could survive a clean install). You could check for rootkits with Sophos Root Kit tool

Just had another thought - is your browser configured to sync with other computers? That could cause this.

I think you would know if it was as you have to initiate sync yourself. But what browser is doing this, IE, Chrome, FF? And do you have another computer running and connected while doing this?

That will be it - Chrome knows your life history. But let us know if you still feel there is a problem :)

If this happened after you logged into gmail, that's what caused the synching.

    EDIT:
Oops! Note to self. Don't load tab and then come back a number of hours later or you'll discover someone already said that...

    Sorry, Earthling!
