Why have i been Banned ......

Hi MajorGeeks friends ...
I have been banned.... that is what is stated as you can see in the Comments area. I can post in the Support Forum but not in the comments when wanting to post when talking about new software. I have contacted the company that supports the comments and they told me that i should ask you guys. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE ......

That is correct and i have asked this before on why am i banned but have not received a satisfactory reply or a fix for the issue. I love Majorgeeks and it's the first thing i do in the mornings. I miss posting my comments and would like to be able to post again. I have not received a WHY i was banned. Please help me with this issue.

Note, being that seems to be a discus commenting system I'm not sure how much MG can do on that.

And to reply to your comment in the other thread, your melen001 is not banned on Major Geeks. If it was, this thread would have never appeared.

 

First, you have not be banned. If you were banned you could post nothing anywhere on the site, and quite possibly not even access it to read.

I am not a moderator or an owner, but it appears that your ability to comment in technical forums has been blocked (which is vastly different from being banned). If, as you say, you are trying to comment with the support of a software company, I would assume your comments were considered spam on behalf of said company.

If that is not the case, then it could have something to do with what LauraR told you in your previous thread...

If you repeatedly do the above, then it would not surprise me if they blocked your ability to comment in the technical assistance forums.

 

You were banned from Disqus. We are not Disqus, and we do not control it.


You might be able to ask Major Attitude, but the answer lies within whoever moderates Disqus. It is not likely you will find answer from forum moderators here. We don't know because its not in our domain of control.

 

I have been to Disqus and they have informed that I am not banned. I will try to speak to them again and see what is going on.
