Could Not Resist New Gun

I have shot this gun several times, sweet shooting gun. Got the opportunity to buy it for an awesome price! .38 Super, a new caliber for me to own, but one I have shot several times. The top one in the picture is the Stealth. Both have Commander slides, the Stealth has an Officer Grip, but, still holds 8 or 9 rounds, depending on where I get mags from.

Got a couple of mags ordered from Tripp Research. Love me some 1A and 2A.

Wilson firearms are not cheap . . . I'd love to have their tactical supergrade compact, but I'd just about have to sell a kidney at this point.

It occurs to me that I do have TWO kidneys . . . Hmmmmmm :-D

 

No, they ain't cheap, but they make a fine firearm. I buy mine used. I found a great PI lawyer in south LA who just happens to collect and sometimes sell his WC guns.

I toured the Wilson compound back in June. Nice, and they are moving into a MUCH bigger building. Good people, with the most awesome customer service. The warranty goes with the gun, no matter how many times it is sold.

Looks pretty compact so how is it for accuracy?
I really like the look of the grip on the left so how does it feel in your hand? :-D

 

Fits my hand perfectly. My little finger fits on the grip with about 3mm extra grip left over. It has a Commander length slide and barrel, so not too short their. I can't shoot this good, but it comes with a guarantee of 1.5" at 25 yards. I shot the gun a pretty good bit before I bought it, but we were doing some IDPA type drills, not bullseye shooting.

I will say it is a dream to carry. Lighter, easy to conceal, and the .38 Super has plenty of power. I have heard it called "the 9mm for grownups." :-D
