can't search.

I don't know what's going on. I hope you guys can help.

When I type in something in the Yahoo search bar, I get the white page that says, "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage."

When I type a web address in the address bar, the address changes in the following ways. 1) the address is highlighted blue, 2) there is a question mark to the left of the blue highlighted address, 3) "http" is changed to "https". And, worst of all, the page doesn't change. It won't take me to the website.

When I'm in my Yahoo email account, if I open a message, clicking on "inbox" to return to my inbox does nothing. Nothing happens when I click on "spam" or anything else in that column. I hit the back arrow and have to re-enter my password to get back to my inbox.

I'm running Windows Vista Service Pack 2, 32 bit.

Does this sound like a malware infection problem to you, or something else? I apologize if I posted this problem inappropriately. If you don't think this is a malware problem, can you suggest a website where I could go for a solution?
