I have one running on water and one running on air, may upgrade to water on the second card but only if I can unlock them both via bios hacks or there's no point, top card is point of view bottom card is Gainward.

I paid £650 for the first 590 about 3 years ago and paid £125 for the second a few days ago used from Ebay.

3d mark score is 8476 which is pretty much double a single card and close to a single 980, not bad for a £125 upgrade.

My CPU is still an I7 bloomfield overclocked to 4.3GHZ and running on water.

Only problem is the power meter is running dangerously close to 1KW when running 3dmark or heaven benchmark with AA aet to 8MSAA and tessellation on extreme, my PSU is only 950watts but a good quality corsair and my whole system is very cool.

If it pops it pops I've had a good few years from her:-D Running Crysis 3 I'm CPU limited so new board and CPU is next on the List.

Heck Rikky that radiator is sa big as the one in my 3.4l v6 Grand Am. And in my electronics days 1kw was an average HF transmitter's power. Your sound could go 30 miles if hooked up to a good antenna!:-D:wave

Nice radiator there Rikky.... is it big enough LOL
    Cheap upgrade too ;)

I have an i7 Extreme series Gulftown (6 core) on water. I used two Swiftech double 150mm fan radiators and I have two 150mm fans sandwiched between the radiators plus two sucking on the back of the radiator block. The graphics card is a water cooled iChill Black Series GTX 480 like this

Currently it is overclocked to 4.3GHz and although it is stable at 4.6GHz, this makes the 750w Antec p/s run hot and also makes the Corsair RAM uncomfortably hot too but 4.3GHz is ideal. This setup has run 24/7 on a 3kw UPS for the last 4 years :-D

Gee Rikky, you must be lucky coz the only two times I have bought used computer cards off ebay they both turned out NFG. One was an ASUS mobo and the other was an ATI graphics card and both were DOA so I learned my lesson..... ebay and used computer cards not such a good deal rolleyes
On the other hand if they are brand new and unopened then no problem ;)

BTW I have a brand new Danger Den 4870 hi flo water block sitting in a cupboard that you are welcome to if you can make it work on the 590. The power supply caps might be the problem but it should come close to fitting although I haven't really checked :cool

It is actually big enough:-D A lot of people say that but I have a computer pumping out 1KW of heat into the room and it does so almost silently, the fans on the radiator run just enough to make them spin, 4X200mm fans.

If your stuffing them in the case you have to keep the size down but if not, well if your gonna be a bear be a grizzly.:-D

The water blocks for 590's are ridiculously complex and expensive, each card has 2 580 cores 12 memory chips and 10 power fets at different heights, but thanks for the offer.:p

I may pick one up used but I'm not paying £100 again for another new water block.

I got lucky on the card working, it was gamble and I knew it. It almost didn't I had to play around with the configuration before I could get the damn thing to run in quad sli, only then did I leave feedback:-D

Nice system, I had a 480 and loved it, gave it to Nedlamar a member on here. Very power hungry and hot though even when they were released.

    Looks like this

It is sooo different to your 590 pic ;) Half of it is missing compared to your pic roflmao

Gee my 480 runs hot enough without the extra processors and two cards for SLI .... lucky you live in a cool climate and can use it to warm the house LOL Right now it is 26C outside and running at 28C in my office. I have the i7 water cooled Server, the i5 3770K workstation, the Dell i7 laptop, the Synology 12 bay NAS, the Thecus 7 bay NAS, a 40" monitor, the APC 3kw UPS with extra battery modules, assorted printers, scanners, routers and modems running and will have to turn the A/C on soon :) Lucky my i7 is running at 34C and the overclocked i5 is 40C but when the room gets to 30C everything except the water cooled slowly overheats :(

BTW The reason this waterblock is still new is because the GTX 470 card I purchased was a Gainward but turned out not a reference card and so the damn waterblock didn't line up .... silly mistake made when impulsively buying bargains :-o Originally I was buying a Gigabyte but saw the Gainward for $120 cheaper and there you go <joffa shoots foot> rolleyes
I ended up with the iChill which is a better card and it came with the water cooling factory fitted for the same price as a Gigabyte GTX 480 :-D

I ran the regular firestrike test, have you bought 3D mark? The extreme test is locked in my version.

8511@ 1080p All Vid card voltages and clocks stock, Nvidia control panel set to default.

Close to a Nvidia Titan and they are £800, my computer is 5 years old, vid card nearly 4.

I Don't need my heating on anymore while gaming though, not looking forward to the electric bill:-D

I've just started Farcry 4, cancer will have to wait.:-D

I'll probably do a run soon, after I've saved up for the electricity:yum

    Ran it again:

Can't figure out why my 3rd card does not show up. When it does, I'll try again.

I own the Advanced 3dmark, if you were curious.
