convert an azw3 file

Hi! I need something that can convert an azw3 file to any other format.

What can I use?

You might want to give Calibre a go.

 

I have Calibre, which sees the file fine, but I can't figure out how to make it convert it to something else.

Yes, it tells you how it does it, but it doesn't tell you how to get it to do that.

I want to drop in the azw3 file and get it back as PDF or EPUB, or anything else at all.

 

Take another look. At the top there's a screenshot of the conversion dialogue box. Add the book you want to convert and select AZW3 as the Input Format in the upper left. Then select the Output Format in the upper right and click OK at the bottom.

The resultant output may not be exactly like the AZW3 file you're converting but, you can "tweak" the output according to the instructions.
