OK, France is often at the butt of my jokes in RL. But damn France! Rock on! Two thumbs up! :-D

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/france-nearly-4-million-attend-unity-rallies-setting-record/

Almost 4 million folks rallying for freedom of speech... Outstanding.

You're right! The French people have always been very vocal. (regarding disagreements with their government, strikes etc)

I take back half of what I have said about the French. :-D

Joking aside, Viva La France! :major

Didn't many French Canadian people move to Louisiana many years ago?

Nah! But I am enjoying a good French Cognac, (the only real Cognac, anyway), :p

Yep, Terrorists don't realize that real Nations don't cringe, they get even! ;):major, I don't agree with everything French, either, but they are adamant on their 'Freedoms'.

Yeah I gather Eric Holder was there in Paris but didn't join the march!? I'm impressed by the turnout from Europe and more especially Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abba. Highest US official was the US Ambassador to France.

The French showed us all how liberté, égalité, fraternité works.

And people wonder why I own and carry guns... ;)

Not to get HBT, but the mooselimbs do not separate church and state.

Now, this is from faux news, I am not going to say much about it, but it is an interview with a mooselimb that wants sharia law, worldwide. Skip to the last half or so if you want to save some time. He wants worldwide submission to islam.

    Bad link.

Thankfully, the 2 Islamic :flip terrorists :crap were exterminated. No free accommodation, clothing, food, TV, etc. for them. Paid for by the victims' family and friends. :-D

I find it funny that Fox needs to find an extreme Muslim cleric before it can argue for the rights of Gay people:-D "At Fox we don't want them stoned to death we just want them locked away." I'm poking fun.

I don't like the phrase for the movement "I am Charlie."

Horrible thing that happened, in in the words of Forrest Gump "That's all I have to say about that."

Yes, those dang conservatives, always looking for a reason to stone someone. Or wait, no, it is the libertarians always wanting to get stoned. :-D

Conservatives like to use that great economic and capitalist product electricity to take someone out to make sure they really get punished, whilst making a modest profit of the rental of the electric chair and the electrical units used.

Liberals like to use a lethal injection, or they prefer the conservative to use a lethal injection because they haven't the spine to do it themselves, whilst still complaining of human rights violations.

Libertarians are too busy bitching about the size of the government to get involved.

    :-D

Think I could get a gubment grant if I could make old Sparky run on solar energy? It would be green... :-D

Nope! - Just a Tin-foil hat with a metal pole on it, stuck in the middle of a field in a lightning storm.:-D

I like that! Would be considered 'cruel and unusual punishment' as you might have to put them out in several thunder storms before they got zapped..

When they did though it would be Gods will:-D

That makes me wonder? If insurance companies don't pay out if your car is damaged by an act of god such as lighting, would they pay out if you committed suicide by lightning?

After all It was an act of God, you wouldn't have actually taken your own life.

Did something happen in France I forget:confused Ahh Politics, god, lighting, free speech in France, it's all the same thing.

Actually, it's pretty fitting. If he dies of lightning - "It was the will of Allah!" ~ If not - stick him under the 330-KV power-lines. After all, Allah will protect him, if innocent.;)

    I'll shut up, now.:p

(Edit: Just noticed Rikky's post, ha!, ha! Great minds and all that!)

My household Insurance actually has a Clause in it that specifically mentions..."...storm and tempest, fire theft, burglaries, civil disturbances and acts of god...", (whatever that means??). I bet that they will still think of some way of not paying up when/if the time comes. rolleyes

You know, there might be a lawsuit in there, the atheist's don't care for God to be in anything. :-D

The Qur'an is like the Bible: it's all in how you interpret things. Would you handle poisonous snakes in church? Would you cut off your hand or gouge out your eye? I suspect you suffer witches to live and don't execute adulterers either.

Muslims are not a monolithic group. They don't all have identical beliefs. There are the Shi'ite and Sunnis, each with their own sub-sects.

Slowly reading the koran. So far, not impressed with the 'religion of peace'.
