A Simple Thank You to My Fellow Major Geeks

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's been supportive in my times of need on this site. I've been a member here for almost ten years and I've received countless responses, and have helped others too many a time. Those headaches having to think of how to fix someone elses pc when coffee won't get your mind going, and others around the forum have a clear thought process. Or the hardware that just beeps, beeps, beeps. Making one more strand of grey hair come out (always gotta find another geez). The endless nights we have all had to claim. And worse when it's our own builds that we can't seem to figure out. But are humble enough to say "Hey I need a hand." Can't imagine what it takes to moderate, run, and control a site like this all the while making a bit of profit to keep it up on the net.

But to anyone who has ever helped me "thank you." I hope this site is up for many years to come. Used to frequent GeeksToGo until it started getting a bit bloated there. But again I always receive quick and friendly responses here. The people here seem to frequent more, and it feels like a major crew. We're all over the world. Way may never meet each other in person and know every user that has come and go. But it's like once you're a Major Geek, you're one for life!

That being said I think it's time I check out the shirts you guys have for sale if they still are available on this site. I gotta give back and will always be proud to be a member of this forum. If you've got any cool stories about some crazy Major Geeks memories or troublesome builds that you'll never forget I'd love to hear. All those experiences we've had just by being members here. I'll never forget how I learned to build my first computer from the case up with the help of some friends on this forum nine years ago... & I'm still here.

    Peace

I've been to other sites to help out, but this is most friendly one there is. I keep heading back to this one. Quite a few good people here.

I agree with all of your post, I have and am a member of some really popular forums but I come back to and post exclusively to Majorgeeks as I like the folk here and we are not pretentious and condescending with new members who may post what are to some simple questions, hey if you don't know you don't know!

Simply put you guys are the best! Thank you all. I also agree with @DavidGP, a lot of other forums get a little nasty. & people may be a bit greedy with information at times or try to clonk heads. We seem to be more of a friendly community truly out to help each other. I've met a lot of good people here over the years. Many of whom I even write to privately to just chat about things that don't even have to do with computing.
